I’m Back

Hiya!  Sorry I’ve been MIA for a while.  Over the holidays I actually thought about pulling the plug on Fashionvictimless.  I was feeling uninspired and wondering if anyone really cared about the content that I was writing.  Well, lucky for me, I got my answer yesterday from someone who holds a very special place in my heart.  My best friend from high school, my partner in crime, my fellow adventurer in all things odd and interesting in the 80’s, came to visit all the way from San Diego.  In the middle of catching up we started talking about fashion and I mentioned that I found a new resource for cool vegan threads (I’ll fill you all in on that later).  My friend told me that she had learned so much from reading my posts here on Fashionvictimless!  Well how about that!?    Someone did care!  Yay!

I think one of my favorite quotes sums it up best;

As one person I cannot change the world, but I can change the world of one person

So, even if I am only touching one person out there and influencing their fashion choices in a positive, cruelty-free way, then that is reason enough to get this lady back on blog writing horse.  So thank you to my dear friend for reminding me of why I started doing this in the first place.

Stay tuned for more posts about vegan fashion coming your way.  And for my high school friend who I hope is reading this…thank you.

  3. You always inspired me because of your dedication and desire to spread the word about what you believe in. I heard a phrase oncel that the alternative to the spectacle is the spectacle of the alternative. Thanks for providing others a wonderful spectacle of a new way of living.
