Cult Shoes- A Way of Life

My style has changed a lot over the years.  In junior high I was ultra preppy, wearing wide-wale corduroys and monogramed sweaters.  Then I discovered punk/new wave music, put peroxide in my hair and bleach on my jeans, trying my best to look like some strange mix of Duran Duran, Adam Ant and Psychedelic Furs.  Yeah, that wasn’t a great phase.  The peroxide turned my hair orange which does wonders for one’s 15 year old self esteem…not.  Fast forward to my adult life where much of it has been spent in either business suits or random casual dress.  My style was kind of all over the place…undefined.  It was only recently when I finally found my personal style which I would call minimalist with a touch of funk. Why am I telling you all of this?  Well my dear friends, I want to introduce you to Cult Shoes so you too can add a bit of funk to your life.

Cult Shoes has been around since 1987 and is based in Italy.  Cult Shoes are edgy and funky and they have both men’s and women’s styles.  Unfortunately all of Cult Shoes are not vegan (boo), but their sneakers are (yay!) so that is what I am going to share with you today.

The Cream Slip-On 1083 is a funky take on a running shoe, though I wouldn’t wear it to run in because I think it is meant to be more of a fashion statement shoe.  I love the easy slip on style and how about the 3D geometric detail on the heel?  Super cool.  This shoe comes in an assortment of colors, with the silver/white combo being my favorite (featured below)

With a bit more structure and stability, the Cream Low 1072 will make you the coolest runner out on the streets.  This lace up sneaker has the same cool 3D geometric detail on the heel as the Cream Slip-On 1083 and comes in four cool different color combinations.  Below is the black and white version with iridescent white details which I think makes it extra special.

The W.A.S.P. Low 1036 is one funky pair of kicks.  From the thick platform sole to the prismatic stud detail along the top, this shoe will give you height and attitude.

How funky can you go?  How about the LOVE Mid 1002 strappy sneaker?  This shoe takes a cool twist on your traditional high-top.  With its thick white sole, wide black vegan leather straps and zip up back, this shoe will up your fashionista status by several points!

So whatever your style, how about checking out Cult Shoe’s vegan sneakers and adding a bit of funk to your life?  Try it….you may just like it.
