The Cold Shoulder – Spring Trend

With the temperatures rising, we all want to run around with as little clothing that is socially acceptable.  Ok, let’s be honest, some go beyond what is socially acceptable, but hey, that can make for interesting people watching…right?  Anyway, one of the trends for this spring/summer season that is sure to keep you cool is the off-the-shoulder top. These tops are the perfect mix of cute, sexy and chic and they are all vegan…of course!

This first top is from the GAP and it has a nice nautical feel to it.   Made from 100% cotton this top comes in navy stripe (below) and a white/blue stripe version as well.  Both would look great with crisp white denim jeans.

Staying with the nautical theme, ZARA has this lovely long sleeved striped poplin top which is also 100% cotton.  It feels very Hamptons/Martha’s Vineyard to me…no?

If you prefer a more boho feel, check out this beauty from Urban Outfitters.  With its cropped 3/4-length angel-sleeves and mini flutter peplum hem, this top has Stevie Nicks’ name written all over it.38134409_001_b

This trend isn’t limited to just tops, check out this adorable swing dress from ASOS.  The Broderie dress has lovely eyelet detail across the bodice at along the hemline and is available in both navy (below) and white.
