Bourgeois Boheme

Each year I get excited when March arrives because that means that winter is almost over and spring is just around the corner.  With spring comes the warmer weather, longer days and most importantly, this is when many companies launch their spring/summer lines. I am thrilled to unveil to you all some of Bourgeois Boheme’s SS16 line.

Bourgeois Boheme is a London-based footwear company that offers stylish, ethically made shoes for both men and women.  Constructed from Italian-made cotton-backed microfiber PU, textiles and natural materials, Bourgeois Boheme’s shoes are beautifully hand crafted and are all vegan, all the time.  There are some lovely offerings in the SS16 line, so let’s get to it, shall we?

It’s all in the details when it comes to the Tilda.  With small cut outs at the vamp and ankle, this Derby-inspired shoe is a classic with an edge.  The Tilda comes in two colors, dark navy and my personal favorite, steel grey.

Looking forward to when the temperature rises and I can free my poor feet from months of closed-toe shoes and throw on a pair of sandals.  The Emma sandal to be precise.  Bourgeois Boheme’s Emma sandal has a sleek, minimalist look with a low heel and comfortable foot bed, making it the perfect for tooling around town.  Available in black and the unexpected Bordeaux/navy combo shown below.

Always a sucker for a good pair of kicks, I am loving Bourgeois Boheme’s Erika sneaker.  The gorgeous rust color and detailed stitching on this shoe are to die for.  And check out the cool contrasting grey and white rubber sole.  These are some chic sneaks people.

From the eye-catching steel grey color to the white creeper sole, the Luke men’s desert boot is just fabulous.  Also available in brown, this boot will make a great addition to any man’s closet.

The Riley shoe makes me think of a dapper man drinking a cool glass of lemonade while wearing a freshly pressed linen suit on a hot summer’s day.  Available in both black and brown, contrast white piping detail gives this shoe an air of crispness that will up the sophistication level on any spring/summer outfit.

The Peter is not your average sneaker.  With clean lines, accentuated stitching and a 7 eyelet lace-up fastening, this shoe ups the ante on the usual sneaker game.  Available in chestnut and black with steel contrast detail.
