The UGG Alternative

Much to my dismay, the UGG boot continues to be extremely popular.  Sheepskin, just like leather, is the result of the death of a sentient being, plain and simple. UGG states on their website that their sheepskin comes from sheep raised for meat, as if that makes is somehow any less cruel.  It doesn’t.

There are so many options for boots that have the look and feel of UGGs that are made from synthetic materials, that there really is no reason to continue to support a business that profits from animal suffering.

I’ve picked out a few great selections for you to check out.

There is a great vegan option available at Kohl’s, currently on sale, the Adi Designs 710 midcalf boot.

Through Amazon there are several UGG alternatives starting with this boot by Reneeze, which comes in several different colors.

So as you can see, there are many UGG alternatives that have the same look and feel without any of the cruelty. So do yourself and the animals a favor and pick up a pair of these cute, compassionate boots.
