Baby it’s cold outside

The northeast got hit with blizzard Jonas this past weekend and here in Philly and things are just starting to get back to normal.  Along with the snow came the cold temps and blustering winds…and hats!  I love hats just about as much as I love scarves. Check out this cool knit hat I picked up by Coal.  Please do not check out my horrible under eye circles.  I’m not tired, that’s just how I look.  Now back to the hat.

This is the Binary by Coal.  I love a lot of things about this hat.

  1. It’s warm
  2. It’s slouchy
  3. It’s black
  4. It’s VEGAN! 100% acrylic baby!

I bought this cute vegan topper from a local boutique called Sugarcube in the Olde City section of Philadelphia.  Great boutique with an amazing assortment of both men’s and women’s clothing, shoes, jewelry and accessories.  If you ever get the chance to stop by here, I highly recommend that you allot at least one hour as they have an extensive inventory that will take you some time to go through.

If you don’t live in Philly and can’t get to Sugarcube, not to worry!  Coal has an online store.  They have several cute vegan hats.  I am particularly fond of several of their knit hats.  Please note that most of their hats are not vegan, so you have to pay attention to what material they use under the product description.

The Soma is also 100% acrylic and super cute.  I really like the waffle knit of this hat.  I think I may have to add this one to my collection!

I also really like the Thrift Knit which is a little bit more chunky but still has a nice slouch to it.

The Frena Solid is similar to the Binary but the ribbing is only one color (on the Binary it is two-tone) and it comes in an assortment of colors including this cute watermelon pink!

The FLT is another slouchy beanie style knit hat that is made of a silky acrylic so the knit is a bit more fine.  Also available in a nice range of color choices, although for me the I would probably choose black, or charcoal or heather grey because as you will come to find out, those are primarily the only colors that I wear.
